Stranger article chronicles Bainbridge punk rock scene | THE BAINBRIDGE BLAB

Bainbridge's fertile music scene is honored in a recent article in The Stranger written by Joseph Schafer. The piece goes on to chronicle some highlights from the past three decades of island rock.

“The suburban cocktail of teenage angst, plastic prosperity, and free time that makes angry young musicians pop up like mushrooms after a spring rain is hardly unique to Bainbridge, but the island has those ingredients in excess.”

Thus the stage is set in describing Bainbridge’s fertile music scene in a smart and informative recent article in The Stranger written by Joseph Schafer.

The piece goes on to chronicle some highlights from the past three decades of island rock, including words from noted novelist Jonathan Evison, Larry Jackson (drummer in the Rickets) and Riker Haddon (former singer of Dumpster Baby).
