The Island School Carnival is noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at 8553 NE Day Road.

Enjoy carnival games, a delicious barbecue, a used book sale and live music by Blacklight, the Voce’ show choir, and Contagion. Visitors can also make a stomp rocket and enjoy preschool storytime. Free admission; cost for activities and food.
