Bus Fare Jump Begins Feb. 15
Local bus fares will be a straight ten cent fee, effective tomorrow, Henry Thompson, Rolling Bay, manager of the transportation service, announced early this week. Other changes include the elimination of transfers, children’s fares and probable time changes for some routes.
Arrangements are underway to provide bus transportation to meet the 4:30 o’clock ferry from Seattle, but no definite schedule has been worked out, Mr. Thompson said. At the request of the commuters, the Black Ball Line has delayed the evening ferry from 4:05 to 4:30 o’clock, it has been announced, but many commuters will arrive on the Island but have no bus service to get to their homes.

REVIEW NEEDS BACK ISSUES
A call for back issues of The Review is being made this week in order to restore some sort of files of the publication.
Every copy of The Review, including complete files for most of its 22 years of publication, were lost in the fire.
Residents who may have papers to give are asked to mail them to The Review, Port Blakely, Wash., or to bring them to the temporary office in the Hi-Shoppe, next to the Island Taxi office, in Winslow.
Any back numbers of the publication will be greatly appreciated.
