Author Steve Sieberson has traveled extensively in search of exotic summits and he has written about his experiences in “The Naked Mountaineer —Misadventures of an Alpine Traveler.”

Sieberson presents the free program “Mountain Travels in the Wide, Wide World” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 18 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

He will talk about several of his favorite mountains, including the Matterhorn, Mount Fuji and Norway’s highest peak, and his colorful slides and readings from his book will be of great interest to climbers, armchair adventurers and anyone who loves travel.
