Weekend weather report: Coin toss | The Bainbridge Blab

Friday’s rain may stick around through the weekend on Bainbridge Island, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

The good news? It’s basically a flip of the coin, with a 60 percent chance of rain Saturday and a 50 percent chance Sunday.

That said, forecasters say rain is likely after 10 a.m. Saturday. It will be cloudy, with a high temperature near 50 degrees.

New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch are possible.

It will stay cloudy overnight Saturday, with the temperature dropping to a low around 42.

On Sunday, look for cloudy skies with a high near 55.

The chance of precipitation rises to 60 percent Sunday night, and more clouds are expected, with a low of about 44.

The workweek will begin with more rain in the forecast, and showers likely through late in the week.
