According to the National Weather Service’s office in Seattle, the chances for showers on Bainbridge Island rises from 40 percent Friday to 90 percent on Saturday.
Rain is expected Saturday mostly after 10 a.m. — the chance of precipitation is 90 percent, and forecasters expect between a quarter inch and half inch of rain. A high near 46 is expected.
The temperature will dip to a low around 41 Saturday night, with more showers likely. It will also be a bit breezy, with a south/southwest wind of 13 to 18 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph after midnight. Gusts could hit as high as 39 mph.
On Sunday, more showers are likely. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent. Skies will be cloudy, with a high near 47.
More showers are expected Sunday night, and the temperature is expected to fall to around 37.
Coming Monday: more rain, probably. The National Weather Service said there is a 40 percent chance of showers.
