The National Weather Service office in Seattle is forecasting rain and showers on Friday, Saturday and Sunday on Bainbridge Island.

The weather will be even worse in other parts of Puget Sound and Western Washington: A flood watch has been called for portions of Northwest and West Central Washington, including Kitsap, King, Pierce, Snohomish, Thurston, Jefferson, Mason, Skagit and Whatcom counties. The flood watch also includes Clallam and Grays Harbor.

The flood watch will remain in place through Sunday afternoon.

On Bainbridge, there is a 70 percent chance of rain Friday.

A high of 62 is expected, with a low of around 53 tonight.

More rain is expected Saturday, with forecasters predicting the chance of precipitation at 90 percent.

Up to a half inch of rain is possible on Bainbridge.

The high is expected to top near 61, falling to 50 at night.

Showers are also likely on Sunday, and the weather is expected to stay cloudy, with a high near 54.

It will be windy, too, with south winds from 10 to 14 mph.

The chance of precipitation is 70 percent, and islanders can expect to get up to a quarter of an inch rain.

Things will cool off even more Sunday night, with a low of around 45 expected.

Monday? More clouds, and a 30 percent chance of showers.
