There are now 83 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Kitsap County, including another case of coronavirus on Bainbridge Island, the Kitsap Public Health District announced Thursday.

Most of the confirmed cases of the coronavirus are in South Kitsap, with 23 (or 28 percent of the total in the county).

North Kitsap has 19 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (23 percent of the countywide total), along with Bremerton with 19 cases (23 percent), Central Kitsap with 12 cases (14 percent) and Bainbridge Island with 10 cases (12 percent).
