Bainbridge Island author Dylan Tomine will describe the process of finding stories in everyday life during the Jan. 15 monthly Writers’ Roundtable at the Bainbridge Public Library.

The free event starts at 7 p.m. and is open to writers of all levels and interests.

Tomine is the author of “Closer to the Ground: An Outdoor Family’s Year on the Water, in the Woods, and at the Table,” published in October 2012. He is a writer, conservation advocate, blueberry farmer and father. His work has also appeared in The Flyfish Journal, The Drake, Golfweek, The New York Times, and numerous other publications. He and his family run a u-pick blueberry farm on the island.

The evening includes a question-and-answer period and closes with an opportunity to network with other writers. No registration is required.
