4:06 p.m. A 48-year-old Hidden Cove resident had his hammock stolen.

The hammock was taken, the man said, from his property in the area near the water. It had been set up previously, and the man’s wife noticed it was missing earlier that day.

There did not appear to be anything else taken, he said.
