Monday, March 2
10:34 a.m. A 34-year-old Bainbridge woman said someone entered her vehicle when it was parked on Hidden Cove Road and took a house key.
Nothing else was taken, but CDs and papers were found strewn across the seat and the lid to the center console compartment was left open.
11:52 a.m. A bag of groceries was stolen from the front seat of an unlocked Toyota Prius that was parked outside the Bainbridge Condos.
The owner said the groceries were stolen sometime between 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 and 9 a.m. Sunday, March 1.
6:17 p.m. A 60-year-old Bainbridge Island woman found unauthorized charges on her credit card account. She said an unknown suspect tried to charge $505 to her Columbia Bank VISA card, which was stopped by the back.
The bank notified her of the fraudulent activity and discontinued the card.
The woman also found two unauthorized payments to Norton Anti-virus had been charged to her account for $52 and $49.
