6:53 p.m. A 29-year-old Bainbridge woman in a 2000 Audi A4 was making a right turn from West Blakely Avenue onto Country Club Road and went into the ditch.
The vehicle was found empty, but keys and a cell phone were left in the car. The vehicle also had recent damage to the top of the car and the windshield, apparently from hitting the sign for Blakely Harbor Watershed.
An officer contacted the woman and she said she overcorrected while making the turn. She said she was not aware she had taken out the sign, and said the car had bad brakes and she had not been drinking.
