MONDAY, JULY 2
1:01 p.m. An 81-year-old Bainbridge Island man told police his kayak had been stolen “sometime in the last 30 days.”
It was a “red over white Elie Straight 140 XE” kayak, the man said, which was missing from the beach near Point White Dock. The man he and his wife had last seen the boat about 30 days prior. They had no suspect information.
The cost of the kayak is about $1,000.
TUESDAY, JULY 3
11:56 p.m. A person attending the Winslow Way July 3 Street Dance turned in a baggie of marijuana, about 24 grams with packaging. Police took possession of the drug and entered it as evidence to be destroyed.
