Thursday, Jan. 10

1:32 p.m. Three “No parking” signs were found knocked over on Ihland Way.

Friday, Jan. 11

2:15 p.m. A truck was damaged while at an auto shop on Miller Road. Someone attempted to enter the truck overnight by prying open the rear slider window. Damage was approximately $490.

Saturday, Jan. 12

2:41 p.m. Mail was stolen from a mailbox on Weaver Lane and Moji Lane, including documents with bank account information and a birthday card with cash inside.

Saturday, Jan. 13

1:32 p.m. Police assisted a woman after she reported an argument she had with her husband. She is divorcing her husband and the situation made him angry that morning. He began yelling at her and blocking her exit from the residence when she tried to leave. She eventually was able to leave, but then wanted to return and retrieve some items so she could stay at a friend’s house. When the woman and officers went to the home, the husband was no longer there.

Monday, Jan. 14

2:45 p.m. A car was egged on Lynwood Center Road.

8:33 p.m. A locked mailbox was broken into. The owner did not know if any mail was stolen, but neighbors’ mail was still present in their boxes. The owner blamed a Kingston woman who she has had legal problems with for the incident.

Tuesday, Jan. 15

8:42 a.m. A resident on Crystal Springs Drive said a credit card was fraudulently used to make purchases at overseas locations.

11:35 a.m. A manager of an apartment complex on High School Road reported that a man was found sleeping in the commons area of the building. The man gave three different first names to the manager and said his parents lived in the building. He then changed his story and said his aunt lived there. Officers discovered through a local charity that the man was a transient. The manager was concerned that the man was taking advantage of a resident who initially invited him over for Thanksgiving. The manager said she didn’t want the man on the property anymore.
