3:36 a.m. A man near Fort Ward called 911 and reported that an intoxicated woman was in his apartment with a knife and was being aggressive. Police arrived to find the woman, upset and having difficulty relating her story to officers.

She said that her boyfriend “freaked her out” by holding her down on the couch. She said he told her she was “worthless” among other insults.

Police had trouble understanding what the woman was trying to tell them, and she said that she was traumatized and that was affecting her memory. She said that her boyfriend probably held her down because she pulled a knife on him. She later said that she pulled the knife because he held her down.

At one point, she barricaded herself in her bedroom, crawled out a window, and went banging on her neighbors’ doors, but no one answered. When she returned home, her boyfriend was gone.

2:07 p.m. Two teachers noticed two boys on top of the high school. They told them to get down and the boys ran away.

3:15 p.m. A man living in an apartment on Grow Avenue reported that he found a nail in his tire. He said that he thinks a neighbor was placing nails behind his tire, causing it to go flat when he backed out of his parking spot. He had no proof, however. He had two flat tires previously due to a nail and a screw. The tire cost $200.
