Sunday, Oct. 27

9:14 a.m. A woman reported her keys had gone missing. The woman told officers she had come home after grocery shopping and placed the keys on the kitchen counter. She later noticed her keys missing.

9:49 a.m. An island man called police about an intoxicated woman who refused to leave his apartment. The woman told officers she drank some wine the previous night but was not drunk anymore. She then said she did not want to leave because she had been drinking and did not want to drive.

The man told police she slapped him when he tried to call 911.

The woman admitted that she slapped him, but that it was a result of him pulling her hair and pushing her onto the sofa. The man denied pushing her or touching her in any way. The woman was booked as the primary aggressor.

Monday, Oct. 28

3:09 p.m. Management at the Kitsap Regional Library reported a man had stolen a key to the building. The man is believed to be homeless and he is usually drinking and intoxicated.
