1:49 p.m. A man on Spargur Loop Road reported a dispute he was having with his neighbor. It began when his neighbor cut a hedge that the man believed was on his property.

Later, a survey was done to determine the exact property line, and the man wanted to run a string down the line with markers. He thought the markers were moved. When the man was putting up string that day, his neighbor came out, removed the string, argued with him and pushed him, knocking him off balance.

When police contacted the neighbor, she said that photographs and maps prove that the property line is where she believes it to be. Police advised that the courts are the best place to settle the matter. Both neighbors agreed to contact the city’s code enforcement about the issue.

2:34 p.m. An elderly man left the Town & Country Market without paying for his groceries. He was given a no-trespass order from the store.
