Monday, June 15

9:44 a.m. A 57-year-old Bainbridge woman called police about an ongoing feud with her neighbor.

She showed an officer a cluster of trees and shrubs in her backyard that had dead spots or dead branches.

She thought her neighbor, a 70-year-old man, was spraying herbicide and was trying to kill her plants because they were obstructing his view.

She said she did not see him do it, but thinks he strikes when he’s certain she is not home.

The woman did not want police to talk to the man, because she was afraid he would retaliate, but wanted the incident documented.

Sunday, June 14

8:58 a.m. A 59-year-old man complained of heavy paint on his driveway. The homeowner thought the graffiti, a name painted on the pavement, was due to the recent graduation of a neighbor who was a senior at Bainbridge High.

The man said he would have to hire a contractor to sandblast the concrete to get the paint removed.
