SUNDAY, OCT. 21

12:40 p.m. A two-car collision at the intersection of Highway 305 and Day Road resulted in damage to both vehicles but no injuries.

A 2003 Honda Civic, driven by a Poulsbo man, 19, was going north when the driver failed to notice a 2013 Honda Civic, driven by a Seattle woman, 26, had slowed for traffic at the intersection.

He tried to apply the brake, he said, and maneuver to the right, but collided with the rear of the other car.

Nobody was hurt, but both vehicles were damaged, though they left the scene under their own power.

The man was cited for inattentive driving.
