3:49 p.m. A man reported to police that someone fraudulently used his credit card number to make online purchases.

11:34 p.m. A mailbox was blown up on Komedal Road.

Monday, June 4

10:08 a.m. A resident on Silven Avenue reported that her 10-foot-long, 5-foot wide, utility trailer was stolen from her property.

Wednesday, June 6

9:06 a.m. A contractor working at a home on Stetson Place reported that someone had tried to steal a copper handrail from the home. The rail was difficult to remove so the thieves were unsuccessful, though they did damage the rail and it had to be replaced. The value of the rail was estimated at $3,500 to $5,000.

12:45 p.m. A woman living on Arrow Point Drive reported that someone had fraudulently used her name to open a Dish Network account.

The woman said that the account was opened in Pennsylvania and the fraudulent bill amounted to $1,136.

3:34 p.m. A candidate for the 23rd Legislative District came into the police station to report that some of his political campaign signs were stolen.

The signs, which were placed in front of the police station, were actually removed by police personnel. The man argued that he had a right to place the signs where he did, but was referred to a city ordinance relating to the matter of placing signs in the right of way. The signs were taken to the code enforcement office at city hall.
