THURSDAY, JULY 8
10 a.m. Police responded to a report of theft at Wing Point Golf & Country Club. A club employee reported that five bags of clubs were missing.
There was no sign of forced entry and no obvious suspects, as most members have keys to the garage to access their own gear.
The total value of the stolen property was $15,570. A report was filed.
5 p.m. A vehicle spun out and threw gravel onto the cement sidewalk at Grace Church. It was not the first time such an incident occurred, and the man reporting it believed it to be an intentional act.
Gravel had been previously so thrown on the sidewalk at least three other times.
Two parishioners swept the sidewalk prior to service starting.
