SATURDAY, AUG. 3
9:18 p.m. Police were called to a two-car collision at the intersection of Highway 305 and Madison Avenue which resulted in significant damage to both vehicles but no injuries.
A 16-year-old Bainbridge Island girl, driving a 2010 Volkswagen Beetle, was stopped at the intersection for a red light. When it changed, she began turning to go north on the highway when she struck the left side of a 2017 Chevy Colorado, driven by a 57-year-old Bainbridge man, who was traveling west on Madison Avenue.
The damage threshold was met on both vehicles.
