SATURDAY, AUG. 6

3:05 p.m. Police responded to a call regarding found property — an expensive cache of photography equipment — on Halls Hill Road. No identifying information regarding the owner was found inside the bag, which held two cameras, several lenses, a tripod, cables, handbooks and other accessories.

9:48 p.m. Four teenage boys were found climbing down from the water tower in Battle Point Park. They had no paint, and police found no damage to the structure. The boys were escorted from the park.
