WEDNESDAY, MAY 1

4:48 p.m. A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a 38-year-old Bremerton man who was wanted by Kitsap County authorities.

Police noticed the man driving south on Highway 305 near the Day Road intersection. He continually crossed the fog line. Turning onto Sportsman Club Road, the man was driving noticeably slower than the posted speed limit.

He was stopped, and provided a temporary paper license when asked for ID. He said he was unaware he’d been driving erratically and did not appear intoxicated.

A check revealed the man had an open misdemeanor warrant for malicious mischief in Kitsap County. He claimed to be unaware of the warrant.

The man was arrested and taken to Kitsap County Jail.
