Monday, March 26
11:22 p.m. Police found four minors with possession of alcohol at the park on Creosote Place. Police found the boys drinking boxed wine and cookies while looking at the Seattle skyline and the passing ferries.
Another minor was present, the designated driver, and was found sleeping in a nearby parked van. He had not been drinking.
The minors admitted to consuming alcohol. Police thanked them for their honesty and told them they would forward a report to the prosecutor.
3:29 p.m. Another bomb threat was discovered written on a bathroom wall at Woodward Middle School.
The message, “Bomb @ 1200” was written on a stall wall in a girls’ bathroom. Police investigated the incident, but noon had already passed by the time the message was discovered.
Thursday, March 29
2:41 p.m. A resident on High School Road reported that he received a counterfeit check for a piano he was attempting to sell on craigslist.
The man received a response from someone in Texas who sent a check. The seller was wary of the check and his suspicions were confirmed when he brought it to his bank and they told him it was counterfeit. The man then reported the incident to police.
