Bainbridge Island Fruit Club’s monthly meeting will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15 at the Bainbridge Island Grange Hall.

Darren Murphy will be discussing collecting and preparing fruit cuttings for grafting and propagation (including apples, pears, plum, cherries and peaches — as well as figs, grapes, red/black currants and gooseberries). There will be some grafting tools and branches for members to practice on, and examples.

This is a monthly club meeting open to the public on growing and maintaining fruit trees and vegetable gardens in the Pacific Northwest.  Bainbridge Island Fruit Club (https://bifruitclub.wordpress.com) is a chapter of the Western Cascade Fruit Society.

Bainbridge Island Grange Hall is at 10340 Madison Ave NE.
