A Bainbridge Island man has been charged with assaulting his ex-girlfriend and violating a court order to stay away from the woman.
Jasiel Rene Garcia De Luna, 25, allegedly violated a no-contact order on Thursday, May 9 when he showed up at a home on Madison Avenue where his ex was visiting and allegedly assaulted her shortly before 9:45 p.m.
Witnesses told police that Garcia De Luna then began a fight with a resident at the home.
Garcia De Luna’s ex-girlfriend had previously filed a no-contact order against him. The order prohibits him from contacting the woman or being physically near her.

When his ex came to the door, he began arguing with her. The ex stepped outside and fell to the ground. Witnesses told police that Garcia De Luna began kicking his ex as she was on the ground. He then allegedly grabbed her hair and dragged her across the ground.
The residents of the home saw Garcia De Luna assault the woman and called 911. A man living at the home, along with his friend, soon came outside and told Garcia De Luna to leave. Instead, Garcia De Luna allegedly began to fight with the man. Police reports state that the two men exchanged blows until officers arrived.
Garcia De Luna was arrested and booked into the Kitsap County Jail on $100,000 bail for a felony violation of a court order and assault.
