The Bainbridge Island Environmental Technical Advisory Committee will meet this week at city hall for an overview of the island’s updated rules on critical areas.
The city’s Planning Commission has completed its rewrite of Bainbridge’s critical areas ordinance — the set of regulations that guide development in environmentally sensitive spots such as wetlands and steep slopes — and the draft ordinance has since been sent to the Environmental Technical Advisory Committee for review.
The committee will meet at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 20 in the conference room next to council chambers at city hall.
