Erika Keo, also known as “Pearly” the tooth fairy, visits children at the Kids Discovery Museum on Wednesday to spread the word of good oral hygiene.

The visit from the tooth fairy is part of a program with Bremerton-based Kitsap Kid’s Dentistry.

A crowd of island youngsters gathered around Pearly as she told them how to properly brush and warned of the dangers of sugar. She also took the time to talk about the benefits of visiting the dentist and helped to assuage young fears of the dentist by showing them pictures of all the work they do and the tools they use.
