The city of Bainbridge Island will meet with the Suquamish Tribal Council and the city of Poulsbo this week to discuss transportation issues on Highway 305.
The special joint meeting will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 1 at Poulsbo City Hall.
“When it comes to planning, no city government is an island,” said Mayor Anne Blair.
City officials will focus on transportation planning on the highway, including the Agate Pass Bridge and cooperative law enforcement.
“This Special Joint Session gives us an opportunity to have a discussion that can further improve our cooperation and impact in these areas,” Blair said.
