The board of the Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park & Recreation District has changed the dates of its meetings in July.

The park board meetings in July have been changed from the first and third Thursdays to the second and fourth Thursdays to avoid conflicts with the Independence Day holiday.

The board will now meet on Thursday, July 10 and Thursday, July 24. Parks officials said the time and location will not change for these or any other summer board meetings.
