Bainbridge parks officials will meet next week to get a presentation on the Aquatic Center Feasibility Study by Coates Design Architects.

The discussion is expected to draw a large crowd, so the board of commissioners for the Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park & Recreation District will host the meeting at the Bainbridge Island Aquatic Center, 8521 Madison Ave. North.

The meeting is 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17.

The board had previously scheduled the presentation last year, but it was postponed due to weather.

Park officials will also get an initial review of the concept plan for Williams-Olson Park, and the meeting agenda also includes action on a two-year agreement with the Kitsap Humane Society for animal control.

The board will also consider a landscape maintenance agreement with the Bainbridge Island Fire Department.
