The Bainbridge Island Police Department will host a town hall meeting later this month.

The town hall will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 in the council chambers at Bainbridge Island City Hall. Panelists will include new Police Chief Matthew Hamner and other members of the department.

Bainbridge residents can ask questions, share comments and get to know members of the police department. Organizers said the atmosphere will be casual and informal.
