Another resident of Bainbridge Island has been infected with the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Kitsap Public Health District announced Tuesday.
The new case of COVID-19 on the island brings the total number of residents who have tested positive for the disease to 11.
In its Tuesday update, the Kitsap Public Health District said the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Kitsap has risen to 119.
Most are in Bremerton, which has had 32 confirmed tests for the virus.
Elsewhere in Kitsap, there have been 30 cases in South Kitsap; 24 in North Kitsap; and 22 in Central Kitsap.
No new fatalities have been reported.
One death has been attributed to COVID-19 in the county so far.
Health officials said the person who died was an older adult who had underlying health conditions.
