Bainbridge residents are invited to join in a community workshop to discuss the future of the Suzuki property — a 14-acre parcel of city-owned undeveloped land.
Participants will have the chance to offer input on whether the property should be sold and if so, help define a selling agreement.
Residents will also be able to offer input on the potential uses for the land.
The acreage sits on the southeast corner of New Brooklyn and Sportsman Club Roads. It is residentially zoned and can house up to 30 single- or multi-family homes.
Leading up to the workshop, community groups, developers, builders, architects or any others interested may submit project proposals to the city. These may include concepts, ideas, written proposals, graphic presentations or material that might provoke constructive comment from the community about the site.
All submittals will be displayed at the open house preceding the workshop and participants will have the opportunity to hear an overview of the conceptual ideas behind some of the proposals.
The workshop will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3.
Preceding the meeting will be an open house at 5:30 p.m.
