The Bainbridge Island Visually Impaired Persons Support Group will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 8 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

John Sheahan of the Department of Services for the Blind will demonstrate low-vision apps for the iPad and iPhone, including the new KNFB Reader, which converts written text into high-quality speech.

For sharing time, the group will think back and share Spring Break stories.
