Rafael Ramirez, an independent living instructor, will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of the Bainbridge Island Visually Impaired Persons Support Group.

Bainbridge VIPs will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

Ramirez will talk to about how he evaluates clients and provides training and basic items to help them be and stay independent. He’ll answer questions about devices, and will make appointments for home visits if needed.

As usual, volunteers will be on hand to give one-on-one support for members’ VIP assistive apps on your devices.
