BHS Math Team earns first place

The Bainbridge High School 11th-12th grade math team of Thomas Allen, Jacob Fisher, Hudson Gilmore and Kawin Nikomborirak claimed first place in Division I at the “Math is Cool” Masters’ State competition on Dec. 5.

The Bainbridge High School 11th-12th grade math team of Thomas Allen, Jacob Fisher, Hudson Gilmore and Kawin Nikomborirak claimed first place in Division I at the “Math is Cool” Masters’ State competition on Dec. 5.

After qualifying in a regional competition in October, the BHS team traveled to Moses Lake for the state competition.

The Masters competition included individual tests, a team test, a pressure round, mental math tests and a college bowl competition, which is a team jeopardy contest.
