Some Kitsap incumbents losing in general election

The numbers have changed, but the results have stayed the same in the general election count in Kitsap County.

Thousands of late-arriving ballots have been counted since Election Day Nov. 7 and percentage points have changed very little.

Turnout is 35.6% with 66,996 ballots counted. There are 188,387 registered voters in Kitsap County.

Although the election won’t be certified for some time, incumbent Bainbridge Island City Councilmember Kirsten Hytopoulos has been reelected, as has Tom Goodlin with the BI Metro Parks & Recreation District. For BI school board, Evan St. Clair had been appointed, but he now also has been elected.
