The Bainbridge Island Genealogical Society will meet from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, Sept. 18 at the Bainbridge Public Library.
The topic is “Primary or Secondary: Understanding your Sources.”
Karen Sipe, avid genealogist, published author, and volunteer with the National Archives and Find-A-Grave (www.findagrave.com), will lead a discussion on genealogy sources. Come and get a better understanding of how to effectively use sources in your research.
The gathering is free to members; a $5 donation is suggested for nonmembers.
