Students at Captain Johnston Blakely Elementary will soon have another reason to look up: an anonymous donor has given $25,000 to the school for a Rockwerx indoor sculpted rock-climbing wall.

Students at Captain Johnston Blakely Elementary will soon have another reason to look up: an anonymous donor has given $25,000 to the school for a Rockwerx indoor sculpted rock-climbing wall.

The custom climbing wall will be installed in the gym at Blakely and officials said it can be easily taken apart and moved in the future.

The gift of $25,000 includes the cost of the wall and installation.

Once installed, Blakely Elementary will be the third public school on Bainbridge to boast an indoor climbing wall. Ordway Elementary and Sonoji Sakai Intermediate School also have climbing walls.
