It’s not exactly a Tunnel of Love.
Instead, it’s much more organic. On the weekend of Feb. 11-12, as well as Valentine’s Day, the grounds at the Bloedel Reserve will be open to sweethearts looking for a romantic stroll during the third annual Cupid’s Walk.
The grounds of the reserve offer sweeping views, romantic overlooks and intimate gardens where nature invites you to connect with that special someone. Keep your eyes open for the best kissing spots along the trail, highlighted in the special Cupid’s Walk map.
According to Ed Moydell, the executive director of the Bloedel Reserve, “a walk through the Bloedel Reserve is always good for the heart. This is more than a place of beauty, it’s really a living expression of a beautiful love story. Prentice and Virginia shared a love of nature and for one another that was revealed in the gardens, ponds, and glens within their home. Cupid’s Walk is a chance to experience the romance and magic of Bloedel in a new way, in the company of those you love. What could be better for the heart?”
The Reserve is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Adult admission is $15, but visitors will receive a $5 discount on regular admission for two during the Cupid’s Walk event.
