Join other library lovers for an afternoon of reading at Battle Point Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10.

Bring a blanket, a picnic and, of course, a good book. From the north end parking lot (at Frey Avenue and Olympic View Drive) follow the signs to the gazebo by the duck pond.

Organizers note that the event will be cancelled if it rains.
