Charles F. Anderson passed away peacefully at his home on Oct. 7, 2016.
He was born Feb. 6, 1933 in Bing-hamton, New York. He served in the National Guard during the Korean War.
He had a long career in the banking industry, but, his true love was the art of Bonsai. He participated in various Bonsai Societies and was active in the Episcopal Church up until his death.
Charles lived on Bainbridge Island for more than 25 years before moving to Poulsbo three years ago.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Ruth; son Matthew (Julie) of Santa Rosa, California; daughter Kathryn Pompeo (Phillip) of SeaTac; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is planned for mid-November.
