The Current Jewish Issues Forum presents Dr. Dennis Carlson, who will speak on “The True Story of the (incomplete) Emigration of Ethiopian Jews to Israel, as Told by an Observer” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21 at Congregation Kol Shalom.

His eyewitness account will document the transfer to Israel of some 81,000 of the poorest people in Ethiopia, practicing Jews and alleged descendants of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. He will also address the plight of those who were left behind.
