Congressman Derek Kilmer will hold his fifth telephone town hall this week to connect with constituents while in Washington, D.C.
Kilmer, a Gig Harbor Democrat who represents Washington’s 6th Congressional District, will host the chat at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 26. Participants will have the opportunity to ask Representative Kilmer a question or leave a message with their questions or comments.
“I hope folks are able to join my next telephone town hall,” Kilmer said. “I work for you, and I want to make sure that I continue to be accessible and accountable to you.”
Residents of the 6th District who would like to join the call can sign up at http://kilmer.house.gov/contact/townhall or send an email to kilmer.teletownhall@mail.house.gov with their name and phone number by 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 25.
Residents who sign up before the deadline will receive a phone call at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 26 inviting them to the town hall.
In 14 months since taking office, Kilmer has held more than 10 in-person town halls across the region, in addition to town halls via phone and internet. He also frequently meets face-to-face with constituents and takes their questions at forums and Kilmer at Your Company events.
