Bainbridge city council members will resume talks on a new public safety building at their regular meeting next week.
At the meeting, Coates Design, the city’s consultants for the project, will share details about the construction costs of a one- or two-story combined police and court building on New Brooklyn Road near the Bainbridge Island Fire Department’s Station 21.
The briefing will include a preliminary cost estimate, conceptual drawings and floor plan.
City officials said the council will take public input on the new city building, and note that community members will also be able to weigh in on the facility’s design at future community meetings.
The council next meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8 at city hall.
