Two new cases of COVID-19 in Kitsap County were reported Thursday by the Kitsap Public Health District, including the first one in the month of May.
Both of the cases were in Bremerton, the agency said.
The pair of confirmed tests for the disease pushed the countywide tally of coronavirus infections to 154. The other case was added retroactive to April.
The number of COVID-19 cases on Bainbridge did not change with Thursday’s update. The last time a new coronavirus case was reported on the island was March 8.
According to a Thursday update from the health district, a total of 4,219 residents have tested negative (of those tested, the positive test rate is about 4 percent).
Of the 154 cases, 45 have been reported in Bremerton, 39 in South Kitsap, 32 in North Kitsap, 27 in Central Kitsap, and 11 on Bainbridge Island.
There have been two deaths in Kitsap County from COVID-19.
