Traffic on Highway 305 just north of Seabold Church Road was slowed to a halt after a truck driver went off the road and went into the ditch Tuesday afternoon.

The driver went off the road while going north on the highway.

Multiple units of the Bainbridge Island Fire Department responded to the crash, which happened just before 1:30 p.m. March 17.

Traffic came to a stop on Highway 305, and northbound travelers were temporarily detoured onto Seabold Church Road.

Traffic going north started to improve about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.
