Bainbridge High’s 100 Building is expected to come down in September.

Officials with the Bainbridge Island School District said that demolition inside the building has started, and hazardous materials in the structure have been removed. Demolition of the building itself is planned for September.

Officials also noted the nearby Veteran’s Memorial has been carefully moved, and will stay in storage until construction of a new 100 Building is complete.
